Pace Leaders

The Flower City Half Marathon will have pace leaders to help athletes to their goal time.  There is no fee and anyone can use this service.

We are pleased to announce the Flower City Half Marathon Pace Leader Captain is Steve Levitsky.

Steve is a Rochester laywer, who works in downtown Rochester.  Graduated from Brighton HS, lives in Rochester with his wife and 2 children.  Steve has done several marathons, ultras and halves.  He has experience as a pace leader and is looking forwarding to guiding you and fellow pace leaders to a successful day.

The goal is to have the following pace groups:

  • 1:30 - Tim Dwyer, Matt Kellman or Dan Giblin (chosen pace will be based on Boston Marathon Finish order)
  • 1:40 - Tim Dwyer, Matt Kellman or Dan Giblin (chosen pace will be based on Boston Marathon Finish order)
  • 1:45 - Tim Dwyer, Matt Kellman or Dan Giblin (chosen pace will be based on Boston Marathon Finish order)
  • 1:50 - Bill Susa Pace Leader
  • 2:00 - Steve Levitisky Pace Leader
  • 2:15 - Kathy Reardon Pace Leader
  • 2:30 - Al Marciano Pace Leader
